SmellyPineApple found the stronghold last night and he, MajorWang, and I completed the portal and entered the end. Wang and I glitched and fell to our deaths immediately after entering due to a glitch, and I ragequit before the dragon was killed. The portal to the Far Islands is on the exact opposite side of the main island from the entry platform; walk past the dragon arena until you find the little staircase. The portal is located at approximately (800,1800) Overworld, and there is a Nether Portal linking to the End Portal room at Nether coordinates (99,41,243). For the record, I want all the credit, despite not being there.
Edit: there is now a tunnel from spawn to the portal in the Nether. Follow the signs and take the stairs down on the left.
