Ok, who's the dick that fixed the paper villager trade?

My diamond armour has been hurt badly, so I went over to the super secret villager trading booth to get emeralds to repair it and it turns out the last trade is now [color=#FFBF00]gold[/color].

Could someone give me more information on this or a reason why this happened?
