[META] We now have an official Discord!

Hey guys!

We now have an official Discord server! Discord is the successor of Mumble, but we will continue to support Mumble until we run out of Mumble server time.

We might also replace Dynmap’s chatting system with Discord. Any thoughts? Please vote above, and, if you’d like to, make a reply post and tell your opinions or ideas.

So we can be clear, what are the reasons we would need to consider moving DynChat to the Discord?

Well, we can keep dynmap chat and add a way to allow Discord to be used to chat with the server. One of the main reason for the transfer/addition is because Discord allows for more flexibility, such as working hyperlinks and more code freedom. Also, Discord can be visited from a browser, so I just didn’t see any huge downside.

Based on the poll, majority of you wanted the Dynmap chat to stay. Therefore, it’ll not be replaced by Discord. Thank you for your input!
