Honestly I’d be down for this.
Maybe take the server offline for a half hour every night (or morning), and do any needed maintenance then.

This is a good idea. I remember thinking about it while we were moving to the new host, but didn’t get around to implementing it.

Could it restart when no one is on the server during a time period? If they don’t log off during this time it’ll force restart. Having it at a fixed time could cause issues with time zones
